Depart from hotel in the morning to visit Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square and Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Then visit Temple of Heaven in the afternoon. If you are interested, you can enjoy the gorgeous Peking Opera Or Kungfu Show tonight as an optional activity.

Mutianyu Great Wall, overview of Bird Nest and Water Cube

The star attraction of China is its Great Wall, a massive defensive structure built to keep intruders from entering the mainland. Today you will have the opportunity to traverse the ancient steps of Mutianyu Great Wall. In the afternoon, you will be driven back to Beijing downtown. You will have a picture stop at Olympic Green, to have a short exterior view of Bird Nest and Water Cube.  After the tour, You will have a leisure night on your own. You could choose to taste the famous Peking Roasted Duck for your optional dinner.

Hutong exploration on foot, Flight to Lanzhou

After breakfast, you could have a leisure walk with our local guide to explore the Hutong area in Beijing on foot, discovery the local people’s life. After lunch, you will be transferred to take the afternoon flight to Lanzhou, the capital city of Gansu Province, where you local guide will pick you up and transfer to check your local hotel for overnight.

White Pagoda Hill Park, Liujiaxia, Bingling Thousand-Buddha Caves

From today, you will start your silk road tour to explore the rich Chinese historical and cultural treasure. Pick up from hotel, In the morning, have a visit to those must-see sites covering White Pagoda Hill Park, and then drive to Liujiaxia, take yacht to visit Bingling Thousand-Buddha Caves and back to Lanzhou for overnight at night.

Yumenguan Pass, Dunhuang Yadan National Geologic Park

Today after breakfast, you will firstly have a 3-hour driving to the Yumenguan Pass (30 min) - strategic pass on the ancient Silk Road. And then, continue to experience the amazing Dunhuang Yadan National Geologic Park (1 hour) - the largest one of Yadan Landform found so far. When finish the tour, you will have another 3-hour driving back to the Dunhuang downtown. After that, have a rest of this day in hotel.

Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Sand Dunes and Mingsha Hill

Today, you will take a visit to Mogao Grottoes (2 hours) - which is considered the great treasure house of Buddhist arts in existence. After lunch, go to have a visit of Mingsha Sand Dunes (Crescent Spring and Sighing Sand Dune) (2 hours) - Singing Sand Dune (Mingsha Hill) helps people free from all worries and Crescent Spring purifies people's minds.
